The Dillon Tourism Award is inspired by the late Lucille Dillon, whose vision and passion helped introduce countless visitors to the charm and culture of our community. Through her work founding Dillon Amish Tours and the Daviess County Amish Quilt Auction, Lucille showcased the beauty, craftsmanship, and hospitality that define our county.
This award was created to honor individuals who carry on her legacy — those whose leadership and lifelong dedication continue to promote Daviess County’s people, places, and potential. Their efforts inspire excellence across our tourism community and ensure that Lucille’s spirit of welcome lives on.
